Crispy Smashed Turkey Burger Tacos
Lean turkey patties smash onto tortillas with cheddar, pickles, lettuce, onion, and a quick burger sauce.
Smashed burger tacos are popular because they deliver crisp edges fast.
Ground turkey needs a little help, so the patties get mustard, garlic, and a hot skillet to keep them flavorful.
The tortilla goes directly over the meat while it cooks, then everything flips so the tortilla can toast.
Keep the patties thin and resist moving them too early.
The toppings matter.
Pickles, lettuce, onion, and tangy sauce keep the tacos bright enough for a weeknight dinner instead of a heavy diner plate.
